If you are the coach of a college team, then you know your work has never been more difficult!
TEAM READY – an online course and interactive live Zoom session – helps your incoming players adjust to college life while stabilizing your returning roster by talking about the pain points that prevent a team from moving forward!
What happens when Coaches don’t Develop their players INTO HIGH-PERFORMING PEOPLE?
Coach, YOU are making a difference, but what is it costing you?
You are losing sleep.
Your relationships are suffering .
You are questioning your purpose.
You think about quitting.
You are becoming irritable and starting to feel hopeless.
You are struggling with exhaustion.
You are isolating yourself.
The stress is impacting your physical health.
Your mental health is declining.
You wonder if you are the only one who feels this way.
Coaches experience an increased workload. You end up shouldering a heavier workload, taking on leadership responsibilities that your players should carry!
Coaches experience a strategic setback. You are forced to spend a significant amount of time managing team dynamics, resolving conflicts, and addressing individual issues because your players do not know how to do this for themselves.
Coaches experience emotional exhaustion. Being the sole leader of a team is draining because you face the pressure of making all the decisions and resolving all team-related problems.
You and your players feel resentment rising. As the primary leader of your team, you have less time to develop meaningful relationships with your players. As a result, your players may start to resent you for not connecting with them on a personal level.
Your team struggles to maintain long-term success. When you have to micromanage your team, you will struggle to achieve sustained success. A lack of strong internal leadership prohibits long-term success.
TEAM READY is a process designed to have an impact. It includes five professionally produced videos, self-reflection questions, a live 90-minute Zoom with me, a Facilitator's Guide for Coaches, and stickers for each participant.
Student-athletes, coaches, and staff will access the videos on the device of their choice with their own username and password.
After your team watches the videos, we will meet on Zoom as a group. Your players, coaches, staff, and I will all be engaged in unpacking how the TEAM READY content applies to your team and your culture. We will spend 90 minutes discussing how these topics apply to your team.

TEAM READY Includes The Following:
Let's work together to get your team on the same page!
WELCOME VIDEO:
Welcome to TEAM READY! This is going to be a great adventure together.
MOVING FROM A RECRUIT-RECRUITER RELATIONSHIP TO A PLAYER-COACH RELATIONSHIP:
Your team will name the challenge that new players face as their relationship with their coaching staff shifts. In this unit, we properly label the frustration that many new student-athletes experience.
UNDERSTANDING THE DRAMA TRIANGLE IN COLLEGE ATHLETICS:
Your team will discover a specific framework that is very prevalent in college athletics. Once you see this framework, you can't unsee it! In this unit, we embrace the power of naming this limiting behavior.
WHEN TO TEXT AND WHEN TO TALK:
Your team will discover a very simple framework to aid in deciding when they should text and when they need to make the time to talk. In this unit, we have the opportunity to teach young players how to communicate with adults.
WHAT ELSE COULD IT BE:
Your team will learn how one question can transform your team! Too often, conflict arises because we think we know what is happening, when in reality we don't know all the details. In this unit, we will equip your team with a powerful question they can add to their toolbox.
YOUR COACH CAN'T BE A ONE-STOP-SHOP:
Your team will discover that your campus is full of resources, but the default for most student-athletes is to expect their coach to fill every need in their lives. In this unit, we shed a healthy light on how this expectation can slow down a team.

It is now time for your team to put these concepts into action and experience a change!
